Meet our founder
I’m Mark. I’ve been walking and training dogs since I was 12, first in the Midwest, now in Manhattan. I started Waving Paws in August 2023 because the options here were either an app that sends a stranger or a solo walker with no coverage when they get sick.
So I built Waving Paws differently. Every walker is a W-2 employee. We hire them, train them, background check them, insure them, and pay them properly, which is why they stay. Your dog gets the same person at the same time every day. That person knows your building, where your dog likes to stop and sniff, and every quirk that makes them who they are.
